FEES AT PROLOGUE
At Prologue, we understand that private care and in particular fertility, can be financially challenging. We therefore place great importance on spending the time to outline any fee structure that is associated with your care so that you understand it and can make informed decisions.
The following table outlines the obstetric fees at Prologue. As a practice we have structured them to be all inclusive and as simple as possible. This means that no matter how many times you see us during your pregnancy, or whichever way you deliver your baby, these fees will not change. They are also inclusive of a personalised midwifery program and our review and support for you during the months after you have had your baby.
Our fees listed below do assume you have private insurance with obstetric cover. If you do not have private insurance, we would still love to work with you. We can email you some additional information related to both our fees and those of the hospital, so you are fully informed.
OBSTETRIC FEES
*Rebates quoted are the minimum amounts that you will receive from Medicare. Once you have reached the Medicare Safety Net, these rebates will be substantially more generous.
The following table outlines our fertility consultation fees. The initial consultation will last 45 minutes and a review consultation will last 20-30 minutes. Each consultation will always involve meeting with a Prologue Fertility Specialist and on many occasions will also include spending time with our Fertility Coordinator to make sure you are leaving with a plan that is the most efficient, effective and financially sensible as possible. We do not charge any out of pocket cost to partners.

Prologue offers a specialised egg freezing patient journey designed to offer an efficient, cost sensitive and user friendly experience. It incorporates a preparatory Zoom consultation with one of our fertility coordinators followed by an in person consultation with a Prologue Fertility Specialist. The following table outlines our egg freezing consultation fees. The Zoom consultation will last approximately 20 minutes and is free of charge. The consultation with the Prologue Fertility Specialist will last approximately 30 minutes.

The cost of IVF is often overestimated by patients and should always be accompanied with any other costs associated with IVF treatment. Fees associated with a fertility treatment plan require specific interpretation to be applicable to your situation and our team would be very happy to help you do this via email, phone or during a consultation.
